That is probably the best Indy I've every watched.

Well, there was that one in the 90s where Gary B (I think) gassed it a bit too hard on the drive around lap just before the start and took a hard turn into the wall. I think he was on the front row?

Not as thrilling as Roberto's upside down slide in '86.

Its thrilling when you're watching it on the big screens in the Mirage sports book and listening to an earpiece. I'm with a small group of friends and boost loudly... $500 that Roberto Guerrero is first out the race.

Then a minute later he spins on the warm up lap.

Guys start screaming that the race isn't live on the TV's and to stop the window action. Pit bosses, goons, and security come flooding out and literally rip the radio and ear piece away without even asking. They wisked our group off the floor immediately. How did you know he crashed? "Its on the screen". Don't be smart with us, how'd you know. "Its Roberto Guerrero. He has less skill than some space chimps." Then guido #4 who is listening thru my earpiece srugs his shoulders and grunts that its just the radio broadcast. Its live, the TV is live. More shrugs.

The let us back in the floor of the sports book. The guy who complained stormed out screaming that the Mirage book is fixed, its all a scam!
