Even though it is not part of a series that involves our region, this event should be a good time, the venue is incredible being right on the bay; beautiful view of the city, friendly folks, relaxed atmosphere (10am start!). We don't have anything else happening that weekend, so why not?
Jeff and Nicole are going to co-drive with Shauna and I, it would be cool if more SoCal folks came too. They have been specifically asking about our local ST folks...I think Charlie wants a piece of "one winged Ekstrand".

AND....
If you do the Packwood Tour, you will have competed in two of the three events of the series, and could win Divisional $.

Nice pic Edison! It looks awfully clean, you must have done some photoshopping.

You want me to tow across the state length wise just to suffer the overwhelming and crushing embarrassment of being beaten by Charlie Davis for the first time.... And in a car with those tail lights? Named the rat?
Pass.

Ok - Mihai got permission from the tower, so I'm going to codrive with him. Should I bring a HASMAT suit?
Seb - where are you and all the cool ST peeps staying? What time are you going up there?

The real question is, did YOU get permission?

Well, I gave myself a pretty good talking to, but then relented and allowed myself to go.

HASMAT? As in ha
sardous? Really...you English just can't accept the use of the zed or what?
I don't remember where we are staying Nicole did the Priceline I think it was $55/night. We are going to try to make it in time to reg and tech Firday, but I'm not banking on it, we aren't leaving Corona until 10 or so.

I'm going to go, I think. The SF Region is my autocross Alma Marter and I haven't seen those folks in a long time. I just hope this Divisional will host some solid G-stock competion... last chance before Nationals.

I think you have to go to the midwest to find hardcore G-stock these days.

On line registration closes tomorrow, Monday the 22nd, so if you're on the fence, get the heck off, sign up and come on up here and have some fun.
Weather forecast calls for unseasonably warm weather at GGF...should be 75-80 with a breeze, sounds just horrible...
Also, SFR is going to have the lot swept/vacumned prior to the event, to keep the infamous marbles to a minimum. No, it won't be perfect, but it should be good. Chris Cox designed course, I believe, with input from Charlie...or vice versa.

Are you trying to convince me to bring the Hoosiers? (not that I am solid G Stock competition...)

Take a nice walk up University and visit the Cheese Steak shop while you're there. Better steaks than Philly, IMHO. Have fun, guys!
