Any ideas where can I buy the plastic wrap used to protect the car for autoX/track use.

I saw it on the Lotus Exige, and a PCA White 997 GT3. It doesn't look bad, and it gets the job done.

My car has a clear bra, but the abrasion from the cones is damaging the clear bra.

Looks interesting, though the following gave me cause for concern.

If any glue residue is left on vehicle after using Road Wrap, simply use rubbing alcohol or a glass cleaner on a soft cloth to remove.

Rubbing alcohol & glass cleaner are extremely bad for your paint!

So in effect, protect your paint with our product, then damage it when you remove our product.

I think you're fine with the disposable road wrap if you have a nice coat of wax on.

I never had a problem with it.

A couple of years ago I had some painting done on the rear quater panel of the Mustang, behind the rear tire. The paint had been severly chipped off from rocks thrown up by the tire. I had the paint shop put on the the 3M product called Invisible bra. I bought an additional piece of the material for when I got the other side repainted. It has protected the paint very well for the past couple of years. There is now a newer product out called VentureShield that supposedly works better than the oringinal 3M product and has a smother texture. I understand the 3M bought the company that made this product. I looked at it a couple of days ago and it appears to be smoother and clearer then the 3M film. I bought some material to put on another car, so we shall see how it holds up. The shop I got it from is in Laguna Hills called Tint Plus if you want more information.

I put VentureShield on the BMW and Fiat. The Fiat has it everywhere except roof and upper rear quarter panels (I doubt I would hit cones on those areas, but I could be wrong).

The 3M clear bra is stronger than Venture shield, but both get abrasion marks from rubbing cones. You can remove the black marks, but not the abrasion marks.

A good layer of wax and a sealant like RejeX should be ok to protect the paint from the roadwrap. Just don't try to remove it in cold weather.

A lil rubbing alcohol never killed anyone...

Yea, you'd probably want to use goof-off/goo-off etc found @ Home Depot if there ever is any glue residue left. Works great, but you will probably want to wash & wax afterward as well.
