Would you like to instruct as your work assignment? - Jul 26

Looking for two instructors for the first group. You can still run with your class, just do it as TIME ONLY.
Meet new People
Drive New Cars
Introduce our Sport...
That's right folks, your dream autocross job is available, you could be an instructor as your work assignment!
We need instructors for the first run group, our problem with that is pre-running the course disqualifies a driver for championship points...
However, I'm willing to bet that there are some seasoned drivers out there that wouldn't mind giving up champ points for a chance to instruct, and if instructing knocks out a work assignment, that just sweetens the deal.
If you are one those drivers, please send me (Leonard) a PM (private message) through this message board.

I highly recommend my fellow SST competitors Ken Lord and Jayson Woodruff! I'm pretty sure they know about the Time Only consequence of this Dream Job!

I'd be happy to help out with that at the next event.

Please add me to the list.

Watching the faces of the Miata drivers as I got in their cars was priceless. To a person they could not believe that I could fit, what they did not understand was that gravity is your friend.

If you fit into one of those things, I might have to reconsider a Miata as a possible option
Seriously, I went for a spin in Leonard's Miata last event, and it was actually pretty comfortable...then again, I didn't have to shoehorn myself into the driver's seat.

I might be happy to instruct, but I don't know the run/work order so not sure when I am showing up.

The biggest problem with a Miata I think is height. On an NA, I'm pretty comfortable. But on NB's a feel a little crowded with my knees. I haven't sat in an NC.

Why not? STR rules have not been fully published yet.
