There ain't no party like a Datsun party

...the big 4-0 is quickly approaching and I've decided to throw a party. Now when I say a party I'm not talking about a few intellectuals sitting around playing Jenga and sipping wine while discussing monetary policy. I'm talking about loud music, stumbling, trash talking, dart playing, sexual innuendo's, underground beats, bad boys, naughty girls.... possibly some fighting with the cops ...probably some crank calling of ex-lovers (uh...not that I condone the practice)...
...anyways I've had so much fun as an autocrosser and met so many cool cats that I couldn't live with myself if I didn't extend the invitation to anyone who' s intimately familiar with my driving enthusiasm or my 280Z that goes by the name of "Sourpuss"....so if you know me and you like hanging out with me on the track...you should see what I'm like with a few pints in me...:-0
The throwdown is on Saturday August 29th. I live downtown so if you haven't seen "Escape from New York" in a few years you might want to familiarize yourself with what to expect when venturing to the eastside of downtown (...I'm sooo not kidding).
in case you are wondering, this is what we built for the last party:
it's about 9 feet long and makes the drinks go down smooth...
rumor has it that we're going to install a Guinness tap by the start of the party... but I'm still paying for my new motor so we'll see if that actually gets done.
and for those who don't know... all Z cars get secured parking (yes.. I'm petty like that)
Cooprdog@gmail.com if you want the particulars...

We talking dart cricket, or baseball-type cricket? Just kidding! I would like to come, however, I will need to see when my football draft is on that day.

Hey Marcus, saw your ZWEET Z driving up Angeles Crest today. I was driving back down after a mountain bike ride.
In other news, karma stuck the guy in a current model Camry who blew past me on the 210 at 100+ mph (I was going 70 and he blew past with enough speed that I had to do a steering adjustment). Half-a-mile later, his Camry did done some heavy landscaping on the Angeles Crest s-shaped offramp. Every body panel was completely thrashed and branches and leaves were sticking out of all the body seams. Lucky for him, I was running late to my ride and didn't stop to offer witness to the cops as to what caused his "accident".

Z4...man that's pushin' it. Brett King is like the only cool BMW roadster guy I've ever met...and I take the Datsun/BMW Z moniker thing quite serious...but I do still owe you a Datsun T-shirt from my last statement like this.. so I guess I could make an exception...but you still can't park next to me.
You saw us on Angeles crest..?? that's awesome! We were doing a little tuning on the new motor and almost got a ticket (the Stroker sounds soooo mean coming up the mountain) There's a rather stout CHP officer on a Kawi..that's been itchin' to write me and Art up for speeding (not that we drive quickly... we just like to enter the sweepers at the correct speed)...on the way up we had just got a nice tune and Art told me to punch it.. I opened her up for a few yards and then decided to tone it down cause my stroker just drinks gas.... lucky I did...cause at the next turn was the CHP officer in question hiding behind a bush with his radar gun...he was pissed that I was doing the limit..and then tried to sneak up on me from behind (yet another reason to have fender mirrors...you see every movement that happens behind you)
For those of you that don't know.. this is the same officer that cited me for doing 77 in a 45 and Art for 70 in a 45 (you should have heard Art yelllin' @ the CHP officer). Such a bogus stop...we weren't speeding at that time (though I have been know to burn a little rubber on the crest in the past so I was due) and Art was driving P1.. I was P2.. so how am I driving 7 mph faster???...we beat that ticket (who says watching Law & Order marathons isn't good for you?).. and I hadn't been on the crest for about 3 months till saturday.. (3 months ago another one of my Z dudes crashed his 280ZX ..it's so painful to see a Z car totaled since are number are declining). That was the second Z car owner I knew of in a month to crash...so I took that as an omen....
I really love the crest, but the slow moving traffic is really killing it for me. It's just minivans and prius' doing 15 under the limit cause they are terrified of going over the cliff. And I've noticed the level of rudeness increasing the last few runs I did. I'm really polite to the cyclists and I try not to crowd people in front of me...so I've been staying away.
...and that is karma related (heavy landscaping.. that's classic!)...that's what you get for wreckless disregard. (and who throws down in a Camary???)
Dr. Brown.. the last party started @ 10.. was packed by 11:30.. and was still very crowded @ 3am. Granted most of my friends are dudes, homies and Z guys...but it'll run all night... my loft comfortable holds 100 persons...and there will be three bartenders working the bar.. I might even book the burlesque dancer on stilts...but when she comes to the parties...it gets way out of hand
That's Eva La Dare... and she's the bomb!

Competition is pretty steep... regardless you should come.. this party is going to be way out of hand.
This is just a little note to let you autoxers know that my RollerSkating waitresses ad was passed around to the Derby Girls (did you know there were roller Derby's held weekly in LA...I was flabbergasted)...and now about 30 of them are going to be in attendance, wearing their skates and hopefully lots of tight clothing.
http://www.angelcityderbygirls.com/acdg/gallery/
it doesn't get much hotter than chicks fighting on roller skates....and they are all coming to show their stuff (I probably should buy some additional insurance)...so I'll ask you again...are you going to join the party of the century? or are you going to watch American Idol...or Pinks?
...even conservatives like chicks who fight in tight clothing... party starts @ 10...will got to 4am...and there's a special surprise at Midnight (trust me..you don't want to miss this one)
