via paypal, but did not make it out. What happens?

Probably going to have to wait for KJ to get back from Nationals, but I think you can either get a refund, or carry the balance forward.

That would be groovy. When this sort of thing has come up before, I've always just let it go as a "donation", but money is very tight right now.

Steve, if you really need the money right now, PM me or e-mail and I can process the refund. In the past (ex Bob B. requested one immediately and it was done).

Steve - given how close the next event is and how long it takes to get paypal money to your account, probably best just to apply to next event. But I can still refund if you're unsure of making that one.
