1992 Mazda Miata for sale - $400 - SOLD!

Hi. I just bought a Spec Miata race car and it included a trailer and a running, driveable 1992 Miata "parts car". Here are some pictures of the 1992 Miata:

This car was hit in the rear and it has a damaged trunk lid and slightly pushed in trunk. The rear quarter panels look straight. The rear suspension looks a little bit tweaked but the car seemed to drive just fine when I drove it up and down my street recently. The engine, tranny and rear diff seem fine. The engine starts right up and idles smoothly. The front fenders, hood, and rear bumper cover are in good shape. Both doors have dings but are serviceable and the front bumper cover looks like it hit something at low speed as it's slightly flattened in the middle where the license plate was. The color is faded red because we all know that's the fastest color!

The car is missing it's passenger seat, radio, center dash HVAC controls, and convertible top. Also, the car does not currently have a battery. It never came with one and I just swap in the one from my Spec Miata if I want to move it.The car has 154k miles on the odo. The only things I want off this car are the OEM air intake and the Frankenstein bolts on the rear deck (for mounting a hardtop).

I'd keep the car if I had the space. You could have some fun with this car. This would be a perfect Grass Roots Motorsports $2009 Challenge project car. Maybe even a 24 Hours of Lemons car if they allow Miatas. Who knows, you could probably turn it into a race car or solo 2 car without much effort.

I live up in beautiful and sunny Rosamond (aka "God's country" ) which is near Willow Springs International Raceway.

$400 takes this gently used creampuff!

& I've never heard of Rosamond being refered to a Gods country before.

Yeah, it's more like purgatory. But I digress...

The trailer is also for sale and I'll create an ad on this forum tonight. I might be able to make a package deal if you need both. It's a 16ft Carson open car hauler.

Looks like a perfect project for someone with a place for it.
how far out is the registration?

The trailer is something I actually do need though.
How much weight is that trailer rated to carry?

The car is not currently registered.

I believe the trailer is rated for a gross weight of over 7000 lbs (I want to say 7700 lbs). It'll haul a 5000 lb car for sure.

Well if its cheap enough, I might buy it.

I have a Suzuki Samurai I dont wanna drive far on the freeways & a Bronco I take out & beat up alot that might not get me home.

So I like the idea of having a trailer.
Besides if I start AutoCrossing, I might want it for the Stang too.

Biggest problem is where am I gonna keep it? Image
Once you decide on price can you show us some pictures?

I'd take this if my garage and yard wasn't already swamped with cars of some sort.

Can i give you the money and have you park it in front of Aaron's door until i can sell/donate my MR2, sell my R1, and truck?..

The car has been sold. Thanks for your interest!

Jeff, can I fit an old 3/4 ton pickup in front of Aaron's door? It leaks a little bit of everything. Is that OK? ;)
