Gio I suppose ...

What does Amsoil recommend for a C5 Z-06 tranny? Anything that helps eliminate it's notchiness? I was thinking GM Synchromesh, a friction modified MTF that helps the synchros. We've used the similar Redline MT-90 in our Suby and Miata to help smooth out and speed up their tranny's. The Suby 5 spd didn't like to go into first ... except at a full stop. MT-90 took care of that.

Send you an e-mail. The tranny and Gear oils, I used on my E36 (and good for heavy-HP cars) are the 75W-90 for the gear, and ATF for the tranny.

Stick with what GM recommends for most everything. Your car will happily blow up on you otherwise. The notchiness and noises are normal. :gpower:

It even tolerates shifting from 2nd to R on occasion.
