We told you about Toyota's zip tie quick-fix they're forcing upon dealers to solve that pesky little deadly killer floor mat problem. Now here's exactly how crappy your brand new Lexus or Toyota will look. Below, how it's done.

Punch holes in the mat & zip tie it to the seat bracket?

Ya gotta hand it to those Toyota engineers.

Could at least specify a black (or color coordinated) zip tie.

Should have used (black) zip ties on my Suby matt. It never would stay in place ... that oem Lexus arrangement looks the same as the Suby one ... Hook and Hole.

Good it was not an "exploding gas tank" issue, these guys would have zip tied pillows around the tank.
