FS: 89-91 Honda Civic Koni Yellows Revalved/Shortened

What's included:
• 8041-1166 SP4 that has been shortened and revalved to SPSS3 valving
• 8041-1153 Sport that has been shortetend and revalved to valving stiffer then SPSS3 (about 25% stiffer)
• 80.0000.0005 Coilover Sleeve
• 80.0000.0006 Lower perch that accepts a 2.25" Spring
- Freshly Rebuilt (November 19th 2009)
What's Missing
• 2 Hex nuts
These were shortened enough to be able to accept Tein Spherical Upper Mounts from a 240SX and can be easily used with the stock upper mounts.

Isn't one allowed to shorten the bumpstops in ST ?

Aren't Jeff's looking a bit long ? With the stiff springs that you guys run I would think you would go for more travel and less "protection." Those look like Koni Comp foam bump stops but I would think one would trim them to the fat end of the cone shape?

My bumpstops dont engage front or rear with the tein pillow ball mounts. If you added more white washers, which you can see in between the bumpstop and body on the front shocks, then it would engage.

To take up a little stroke and prevent the rod from hitting the footvalve in most cases.

FWIW, the footvalve currently in these shocks are significantly stiffer on bump at low speeds. At 3" per second they are about 33lbs stiffer then the standard 006/007 footvalve used in the SPSS3 valving. Also another FYI, the compression values on our dyno read a little bit lower then other dyno's.
