If anyone has a spring compressor I can borrow and lives somewhere reasonably close to West Hollywood (i.e., 30 miles), please contact me - looking to change out a couple of shocks on my Miata this week.

You can always rent them for almost nothing (pay tax on a refunded rental charge) from Autozone and Kragen.

You know where we live if you want ours ... but why are you screwing with a winning set-up?! ;)

I was just thinking the same thing. Congrats on your first win. :gpower:

Thanks! =) It's nice to finally make it to the top. :gpower:

I don't like messing with success either, but I do feel a set of matching shocks with a better balance between front/rear than what I've got currently will do nothing but improve the car, which is already miles ahead of what it was this past summer. Decided to wait until after Sunday's champ to make any changes since the car is driving well.

Now, if I could just match my driving to the car more consistently, that would be even better (had an off-day yesterday in San Diego). }:)

I got one at HF for about 12 bucks & it worked great on a 95 m3, an air gun is nice or you will be "arm stronging" more than you probably would want to. Be careful, lot of energy stored in a compressed spring.

:)

I've got one if you want to drive to Bellflower to pick it up.
