Hey folks,

Pat Salerno is going to be in town on business (not Evo, his real job) and he asked me to fill his dance card for the weekend.

Anybody willing to let him drive your car? He'd prefer an SS ride, but beggars can't be choosers...

Mark and I will probably run my car in STR. He could run it in STR PAX if he likes... I would welcome his input.

What's the STR PAX index?

I'm sure he'll get better offers before then but I'll offer to be the last ditch choice. I'll have new rubber by then but.... it's just a BS SK1 ride.

What they did for Brian P was make him an official instructor for the day

I've got a shifter kart. He could co-drive with Jon and me...and then Jon can have the distinction of having kicked Pat's butt in a junior kart *and* in an F125 kart.

Oh, the Clemens kid is going down in a shifter kart....I think he weighs more than me now....The jr Kart was a different story....sand bagging little kid.....

I can not wait to feel warm weather again. Highs of 20 is just great.
I appreciate the offeres. I am hoping to run the practice and the event.

Pat - As I told Robert, I'd be HAPPY to let you drive my car, BUT, in '10 I'm hoping to try something novel: have a car that doesn't break down at EVERY event. To help meet this ambitions plan, I'm cutting way back on driving the car, and other than Tours and Nats., won't be having a co-driver this year.

Hope you understand; besides, looks like you already have great offers w/Max, Tom T. and the "kid" that will kick your butt...

Good call. With Pat's "helmet" issue, a convertible is really a must.

... thus the Go-Kart co-drive!

I thought Pat had experienced "significant shrinkage issues" in the helmet department.
