CSCC Info/Contact/Biz Card ... Ideas ... DESIGNERS

We spend a lot of time dealing with the consequences of lower attendance ... while little is done to market the CSCC and our events. Team Blew used these business size cards to help successfully grow Team Blew. I feel we should have CSCC cards available for members to help themselves to. Team Blew would leave our cards at Suby garages, hand them out at Suby events, even stick them in the doors of modified Subys that we came across. I'm always surprised at work how many motorsports enthusiasts there are.
Do we have anyone that can help design a CSCC card?
What do you think should be on our card ...

Good Idea!
I just tell people "solo2.com" all the information is there. I think we should have SOLO2.COM sticker for people to put on their cars (or do we already have one?)

OR ... do we want to take advantage of fewer competitors by offering four race runs instead of three ... accepting the fact that we would be slightly upping our tire budgets? In other words, forget about marketing Solo racing. But, I thought our races were merely practices for Nationals and everyone needed to learn to Do It In 3 ...

I'd volunteer to design it. I agree re: the sticker. I've seen one with the CSCC Solo 2 logo that Rick designed. I think it looks really cool (text in white with the cone in orange). I'd buy a few if they were for sale and put them on varius things.

I think we talked about this before and no one followed through.
The card looks great, with the exception of course, the picture of the Suby should be replaced with that of an S2000.

George, I think they wanted to stick to a "currently in production" theme with the car choice }:) ;)

A few years ago I made post card type flyers. The listed LA and SD's schedules, contact info, and a simple beginer's guide on it. Big hit, fairly inexpesive, effective.

No Mako our events are not MERELY practices for Nationals. They are Regional Championships, as there are still people who would prefer to compete on a Regional level ONLY.

Bad image, but only one I could find. Good quality 5x7s (I think the divisional flyer's I made were the same stuff), 500 for about $115 to my door.

When I was doing International Style pistol shooting with USA Shooting, EVERYTHING, including the US Nationals was considered practice for the only real game ... the Olympics. Of course most of us had no chance of making the Olympic team ... although one of our local members DID, Sydney 2000.
But the idea was to set lofty goals otherwise one would certainly never make it. Even if one is "only" competing for a Regional Championship, most of us do compare ourselves with our National competitors.

FWIW, we use the place next door to us (proparts) for printing. They are pretty fast too.
Postcards 5X7 - $119 for 1,000
Business Cards - $15.99 for 1,000

I still have one of Jayson's cards, very cool. I think we need both the 5x7 and a standard business card. Depends on the situation or who you talk to which you would leave or hand out. The 5x7 would be better to leave at businesses that have good traffic of potential competitors.

Do we want to have a shared card with SD Solo ... like Jayson's ? We might both benefit, or ?
