Can the run order be changed? With the amount of co-driving we do (Shauna, Seb, Jeff and I) we are gonna be a 4 driver fire drill.

The current procedure is to allow multi-driver cars to work out when you run on an individual basis with the Event Chair (who hasn't been named yet for March). Much easier than trying to figure out a run order that makes all multi-driver cars happy.

Is this just for this event or is PAXL and ST going to be in the rotation together always?

That does not and will not work. Period.
We're talking about one of most competitive classes. We're talking about a championship on the line.
Yesterday, on that first heat rallycross course you're going to let competitive drivers run out of heat? Seriously.

All problems aren't easy.

Aaron is the one currently doing the run orders, so you have to ask him. But if you are in the morning groups, ladies are split out so they will be grouped differently for each rotation. When we get entries back up so we have 6 groups, then ladies are always split out and move around relative to the open class.

I said work it out with the Event Chair. That doesn't mean he has to agree to all requests. He can certainly take those kind of conditions into account. You're right, trying to keep it fair isn't always easy, which is why I think the Chair needs some freedom to make things work. Hard and fast rules like "I don't care that you have 4 drivers in the same car in the same group in 2 classes" may not be particularly fair either.

Rick ... as you probably already know, Registration on Sunday had no record that I had paid on-line via Paypal, using my paypal account ... but Karen DID show up as having pre-paid? I paid for the two of us at the same time.

On my list of things to check with the AXWare ORM programmer about. But obviously reg accepted that you did since the computer shows you both paying $30 online.

They took my word for it and entered that we had paid. I attached a copy of my paypal invoice for you to see last week. In the past I printed out a copy to show KJ.

I just rotated the run order from last event forward one. It's the same rotation in the morning we did the last 2 years, Ladies and Open classes run separate but work together,i just copied it. The afternoon groups are combined since we only have 5 groups. We did move the group around per seb's request already, when the new order was being discussed, so that ST wasn't with STX.

Once you start running multiple classes or different ladies classes from the open class the car usually runs in then there isn't a good way to keep you from having the classes run at the same time at least once every 5 events. Even if we ran the ladies in the opposite half of the day, there would still be combination of classes where this would happen

Sorry to be a pain then, I thought we may need to find a new class again :?

Not that big of a deal if it's every 5 events or so :gpower:

I've never registered this early, does the pay by paypal option become available closer to the event date?

The link on the homepage for Sunday is still listed as "Incomplete flyer." How are negotiations going to secure the lot for Saturday's practice?

The lot is secured and the event will take place barring any unforeseen circumstances.

I'm not getting the 'add registration to cart' button after registering and, thus, can't pay for my registration. Anyone else having this problem today?

+1,

I registered a few days ago...

I would like to pre-pay so I get the discount. Please fix.

I think the discount is for pre-registration, not pre-paying. As long as you register before the event, you're good.

I registered Karen and I. Now can I go "back" and pay on-line? I can't seem to find a way to do that, short of un-registering and starting over?

Doesn't look like it as I was able to register and pay for the champ on the 28th. Someone probably forgot to allow payments for this event (just a theory).

Weird. Because I didn't pay, but I'm on the registered list ???

It's turned on and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. The event download file contains records of people paying online so it does work. Not sure why you are having a problem.

EDIT: Oops, it was turned off for the 7th, don't know why. I was looking at the 28th. Turned on now.
