This little car has it all, light weight, amazing handling, quick!, safe and easy to maintain. Some of you may know about the dp1, well here is it's little brother. This thing is a blast and makes you feel like you're in a formula car. Check the spec sheet

Sweet! Only a foot wider than a shifter kart, weighs 4 times more, but can have 5 times more HP. Only down side is it cost 10 times more. Time to buy some lottery tickets. Or Ron, if you buy one I'll be happy to co-drive with you

Stretch the wheelbase and it could run in A-mod...

As a DSR, it would be in B-Mod.

I don't have a GCR so I didn't know it was a current year legal DSR...

Well, I don't have anywhere near a current GCR. Was just going off previous ones and that the web site said they had a DSR version.
After a little research....
The GCR has no wheelbase limitations, but the Solo Rules have this:
Modified Class B (BM)
All Formula Cars or Sports Racers compliant under the current year
GCR, unless specifically classed elsewhere, with the following
exceptions (weights shown are with driver):
............
B. Minimum wheelbase of 80 inches.
...........
Which seems to make the DP4 not legal for Solo. Interesting that we allow FSAE cars which are similar in size.

Which brings us back to; "Stretch the wheelbase and it could run in A-mod..."
Or if the manufacturer (who now owes us a consulting fee

) wanted to sell them to SCCA members they could get it listed as a DSR.

Even two different AWD versions.
