Hey guys, I am having a hard time looking for a part time job that can blend well with my school schedule so I am whoring myself over the interwebz.
-ASE Certified for Engine Repair and Steering/Suspension.
Looking for some side jobs to help pay some bills and support my favorite sport

.
Not looking for something too intensive as i don't want it to interfere with my schooling time wise. Just basic simple stuff if you are looking for someone to do some maintenance work.
Recent work:
- Clutch Job for Sebastien Rios' ST Civic
- Timing Belt, Oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, etc for Jason Flores and Stephen Yeoh
- Brake job for Neightbor "Mercedes Benz M-class"
- Wheel stud replacement on NC Miata
Please direct me to anybody looking for some work done. I live in Oceanside, CA but will to make several trips up if the work is worth the trip
760-732-0632
*PS. if you can find a quote cheaper than mine, I WILL beat it.

My GTO needs a 30,000 mile service, not sure what exactly that entails though!

Also Jon is excellent at evaluating your cars handling. Saturday our Vette was very pushy. Jon drove it and said you have understeer developing at mid corner and continuing to corner exit. Your front end is too stiff. The only thing I could do quickly ... he suggested a softer front sway bar ... was to lower then Nitrogen pressure in our front Penske shocks.
The result ... on Sunday the car was much better ... enough for me to beat Tom D, my arch SS rival and get very close to Steve A. No push and I had a car I could work with.
I wish Jon was closer to Pasadena so he could work on our cars.

@Max: It usually entails checking all filters, oil change, check trans and diff fluid levels. Check belts. Fill all fluids (brake, windshield, trans).
@Mako: Thanks for the kind works Mako. I know the Previa will most likely be the car needing work yah?

My XTerra needs it's belts changed, including Supercharger belt. I've got most of the parts, saw a write up of the job on the XTerra forums and damn near fainted.
Want to give me a quote?

I know that, but I do not specifically what ones.
Other than I know my brakes are ok, I would like all my other 30,000 recommended fluids/belts/filters changed. I ask you, as my designated Mobile Mechanic, to find out what all those items are, how much it's going to cost, have you order all the stuff and then come round my pad and do it all while I'm at work (or at a weekend).
Get me a detailed quote, man:)

I can answer this question for Jon--
no need to confirm with him.
He can be paid in Toyos.
Just call him to set up a time.

I can totally vouch for Lugod's work.
He has done numerous jobs for our civic as well and we have been very happy with his work.
He has come a long way from being paid with dinner and a place to sleep, glad to see he is upping his ante!!
As for setup WE both struggle finding people who will listen to our logic on setup but to each their own. Over the last 2 years we have been each others sound boards and have developed a very sound technically based methods for developing cars and the setup, and of course lastly their drivers.
+1 for Lugod

He pours the used oil on the couch. Makes it nice and slippery.

i'd say that was dirty but at that point I think it's already assumed the oil will be used, not new.

If you have weekends open you might consider posting your services over on the Club racing forum. A lot of those guys will bring crew members, and often times those guys will pick up side work with drivers who don't have help. You could offer a minimal day rate for your trip, and additional fees for actual work.

Clumping was ruled out... trolling is OK.
Actually I'm willing to take an offer on replacing the serpentine on the Jetta VR6 (2002 SOHC).
Warning: It's not even visible from the top, looks like a rack is needed, and parts may need to be removed to access.
