Open seat in the STR car this weekend and SD Tour

Hello,

I have an open seat in my STR AP1 S2000 for the El Toro local event this Sunday as well as the San Diego national tour. The car is a fairly serious start to a STR build but still has some tuning/development to go. I decided this week to try out the Hankook tires, and to get the most out of these tires the car needs two drivers.

So if anyone wants to hop into the car and try out STR this weekend and the SD national tour, please let me know and we can work out the details. Unfortunately I’m not looking for a co-driver for the El Toro pro. I’m pretty laid back about beating on hardware, but after pulling the transmission off my car three times last year (clutch work twice, rebuild output shaft once), I just want to limit how many 7k rpm clutch drops the car sees.

Email me at james dot Reyenga at gmail dot com

Thanks,
Jim Reyenga

honored to be asked to drive this ride Jim. Unfortunately I've got unfinished business in ST to attend to.

Awesome car! If no one hops in for Sunday, Ill do X run as your co-driver/tire warmer.

DOH! So when I put every SoCal event into my google calender, it looks like I put this one on the wrong weekend and hadn't double checked until today.

So, yeah, the offer still stands, but it's for NEXT weekend and the SD Tour

I'd like to give it a shot...X runs for sure, unless...wait, does STR run before or after SK2...hmm...and a S2k even, oh lordie...

--Edit-- FANATICAL YES!! I'd love to! I run SK2 earlier so I'd be glad to co-drive/assist as X runs if that works. That is, if no one beats me to it. :P
