Thanks to CASOC, great El Toro Championship

Want to thank CASOC and everyone who made today' championship at El Toro possible. Great course. Heard some grumbling about how technical it was, and certainly it was hard, but what fun. Fast, challenging, long. I admit I only had one clean run in my session and only one clean run in my X runs, both were all the sweater becasue it was a hard course. The venue is wonderful, wide open, and litterally everyone I met was welcoming, even when my being a novice showed through (Sorry timing and scoring about not having the X on the car for the X runs).

If you don't drive well ahead this course bit you and didn't let you catch your breath, I had some spectacular spins to prove it. Can't thank everyone enough, was very well run, fun, great time. I personally loved the challenge. I would have liked a few more tries at the Wallom and that sweeper.

Special thanks to the GRA team for making me feel really welcome even though I don't belong to their team. Thanks a lot to George Schilling and Tom Berry for the coaching and instruction. I am tired, a little sore and sun burnt and absolutely couldn't be happier. The only thing that would have made the day better was a T-shirt as a reminder.

Look forward to doing this again.

Your welcome Art. You were a pleasure to instruct and I'm glad you had a good time.

I agree with you about the course. I've got to tip my cap to Tom Berry as he aimed for and accomplished a course that obviously challenged everyone. There wasn't a moment to relax as seemingly every element presented challenge after challenge. Personally Tom, if I had anything to do with picking nationals course designers, I'd have you in my cross-hairs. I think we as a group should aim at getting Tom a shot at doing a future national course.
