Any of the big guys have fitment advice on these karts? I've always avoided the K1's of the world because I was afraid I wouldn't fit.
But I'm down 50lbs and more than 6inches in waist size (48 to 42 and those are getting loose). I think I might have a shot now.

"All racers must be a minimum of 4' 10" tall to race and a maximum of 7' tall and under 300 lbs to race."

It was tight when I was at 42", but worked. I had more problem with leg room.

I shouldn't have KJ's or Kurt's issues with height. I'm 6ft. And finally well under the 300 limits (268 today).

Wholly crap I wouldn't have guessed that tall would fit. It'd be a funny thing to watch most of the Laker team whipping around out there.

Yeah, that's the good thing about karts, your knees just stick out further...

My hipbone is too wide to fit into the K1 Speed adult kart seat which caused me to sit at a funny angle and the top of the seat edge hitting the middle of my back causing me pain for the next day...
but then a few weeks ago when I brought my 6 year old son to K1 Speed in Anaheim to drive the new junior karts (min height 48 inches) that they had just received I discovered that they had different Adult Karts too with a black seat (instead of the one piece molded red sidepod/engine-cover/seat I could not fit in)... I was not going to drive that day but they let me sit in it and I fit much better because it was a bit wider and it was back-fort adjustable on a slider...

Note that not all K1 Speed has the new junior karts (Oceanside was the first I was told about and then Anaheim).

I would be more interested if it was a gathering of autocrossers to go head to head.
