Hi, I am selling a used Trailex Aluminum trailer. I just picked it up used a few weeks ago, but I am needing a larger enclosed trailer to haul more. This trailer has a load of options and when new retails for over $9000 (see trailex.com)

Model CT-7041 (current # CT-7541)

800 pounds weight. LIGHT!!
Surge brakes
Extended aluminum ramps for low cars
Tongue wheel/jack
Aluminum wheels
Spare tire on alum wheel
Gas jug carriers (2)
Tire rack
Winch (manual)
Rock guard (vinyl panels stowed away in pic)
Straps
Awning parts to attach to trailer included (needs fabric to finish)
Tool box
2" ball and 4 pin straight connector
Can fit cars to 71" wide at tires.
4 tie downs
Registered in California, simple transfer

Price is firm at $4000. This is a very cool trailer... and if I did not need a bigger trailer, I would keep it.

Those are nice trailers, and you don't see them on the west coast often. Someone should jump on it. At that price you could resell it down to road and not lose any money.

Thanks, I had been looking for one for a long time. Found this one in NorCal. I really like Trailex stuff. Wish I could afford a full Trailex enclosed.

I personally have gone from throwing the racing tires in the passenger seats (MR2) to towing a small tire trailer to driving cars that needed a support vehicle for tires (Noble and Elise) to getting an open trailer. I like the minimalism of things... so nothing more than the minimum. The Trailex is cool also because it is so light I can move it easily... ramps are easy to maneuver.

BUT...at this point, we have to figure out how to autocross and travel with two small children who may end up karting. Best solution would be an RV pulling an enclosed trailer... but apparently I like more gradual transitions. :) And ones I can afford. An enclosed trailer will allow the kids a place to hang out, specially out of the sun or rain and allow us to carry a jr or F125 kart with us too. Plus I can use it for cars without roofs and for trade shows like SEMA.

Ahhh... You bought it from Ken H. in Norcal. 8-)

I passed on it back in Dec. due to me finding out how much storage costs around LA.

Whatever, how does ChaseCam not have a stacker toterhome/mobile office already. With so many shut down pro teams there are some great deals out there.

Yep. Nicest guy in the world. He was getting out of racing, I guess due to his age.

I mentioned I am a minimalist. I once rented an RV to tow the MR2 to Atwater. I actually did not like the experience. Too much rig to drive. Not very nimble. Hard to park. Hard to change lanes.

But the kids... argh... they are forcing me to do stuff.

The second part of the equation, you answered. With so many pro teams shut down... who is out there buying racing video systems?

Not as many. Which means we can't afford to buy cool new toys

You're doing it wrong... You stick Randal behind the wheel, even ship the kids with him, and you fly in.

Same here....as it's VERY expensive. Min: $150/month to as high as double that.

Huh? Just saw at the steering wheel a little bit, back of trailer wags, cars around you scatter and you have pleanty of room to change lanes :)

Were you following me taking the motor home to El Toro without working turn signals ? :)

Ha, my dad taught me this about 10 years ago (he was a 7-up deliverly truck trainer at one time). He says it's called 'wagging the tail at them'.
