looking at homes in Philly and the one my wifey loves has a 2 car garage with a height of 9' 10"

I am considering getting a 4 post lift so I need to raise the garage door tracks for clearance

anybody done this?

looking for advice and info -- how close can I get the door ot the ceiling?

How about a roll up garage door.

They make ones for residential use that are lighter, and less expensive than the commercial ones. My parents bought one for the workshop at the house.

That's what I'd pick. Do a search on roll-curtain garage door.
