Wanted to give a big high 5 to team Blew, especially John. The course was excellent, challenging and fast. The Team Blew crew faced a number of challenges and produced a solid winner. Very fun weekend both the practice and the championship event.

Thanks to all

I loved the course! I think I liked it more backwards than forwards, but both ways were awesome.

Perhaps not quite as challenging as the last CSCC Berry Course ... but more fun! :D Fast and Flowing.

btw. Jon had to punt after only being able to start set up at something like 7 pm on Friday (working with his helpers until at least 9 PM!), and discovering that we had lost a good bit of the area that we thought was available to us because of the PCA event. Basically he had to throw away his design and shoot from the hip. Pete L. jumped in and started designing and setting up from the opposite end. A bunch of people jumped in on Saturday morning to help finish the course.

It truely was a big group effort. We were up till 9PM trying to get most of the course done with car headlights and all. Big Kudos goes to Pete Loney for helping me out a lot. Kudos to Mike Simanyi, Rick Brown, Mike K., Arthur Grant, etc. Overall pretty stressful but successful weekend.

Thanks to everyone that pitched in to make my first time as event chair a little less painful. I'll tell you though, it was a lot more work than I expected. I learned a few things that I would do differently next time, but overall it went pretty well I think.

Great course! Nice weather, fun runs, what more can you ask for? :gpower:

Way to go Renee :gpower: :gpower: :gpower:

TOP PAX of day

A full 5 seconds in front of the open class cars in ST, and beat Gary in an ASP car by a full second, raw time.

You go girl!

Easy there Craig - I think that is a tiny error on the 70 for Renee.

Great course...a nice mix of that wicked fast first section, tight slalom and not-too-tight radii on the turnarounds. I've never shagged so many cones as I did working the slalom!

And Theo, a stellar run there in CST...you found almost 2 seconds in that last run! Grrr.... :D

Great job Team Blew! I really liked that courses, despite not driving it very well on Sunday (could have used 1 or 2 of Seb's reruns). Preferred Saturday's course. Watching from my semi-permanent home in the CTV, I'd say it was very well run and organized. +1 to Pete learning the Timing Chief job, although you really don't get it all in one event. Any event that ends with free fun runs is a success!

Is there a mix up with the CST Results. They show newbie Nick Thieman beating his AX'ing Regular twin Matt Thieman, and trophying, or is this a case of Beginners Luck ?! Sure must piss off Matt. :D

No mix up, as far as I know, Nick beat Matt fair and square. Nice job

They are identical twins, therefore driving ability should be exactly the same. Winner is selected by random chance

Just kidding, good job Nick

Thanks Doug. Took me a while to figure out how fast that first section really was. Plus I think I finally figured out the correct pressure for my RS3's.

Also, chasing super fast drivers last month at the SD tour and Pro Solo toughen me up a bit ;) Looking forward to Wendover.

Yeah, great driving Theo! And Leonard, I predict you'll start looking for your very own Mini very soon  Congrats!

I had the faster time but Nick beat me when it counted. He improved a hell of lot from his first run Saturday morning, maybe I should have kept my mouth shut.I spent most of the weekend trying to figure how to drive his car, I'm amazed at how completely different it is to my e30, it felt more like a Subaru.
Nice run Theo! Especially since you never walked the course. I think you may have even beaten some of the Berry's e36 times! Good luck at Wendover!

Thanks!

Naw, I'll still be driving my Miata after all its issues are sorted out. Call me sick and twisted, but I just like RWD more than winning in FWD. One of these days, I'll combine the two again.

Thanks for the compliment Craig, but Mark is right. There is no way that time belongs to me.

I know she can kick cancer's ass... Maybe an autocross course too!
