An lived to tell about it.
What a blast... a carnival with some racing going on also.
You should all concider doing this if you get the chance.
At one point, as I am motoring down the front strait at Thunderhill at 115mph it occurs to me "Hold on a moment here, I am in a $500 car at these speeds surrounded by 108 other idiots, many of which have never raced before at all, doing the same stupid thing". So I just put it out of my mind and carried on.
I have hundreds of photos of the cars..teams...costumes...parties...repairs.. creativity..parties...beer...track... cars...parties... etc.

We pitted between the "Kill Phil" car and the "Prickstene" car " ( red E-30 in your picture )
the "Ranchero E-30" was really cool.

ROTF. I was wondering why they put the Der Wienerschmoker upside down on this year's iteration. I guess they were just being proactive.

For those wondering about the name of the car....
There is a BBQ in the trunk, with an exhaust pipe going through it that acually cooks hot dogs while we raced.
And yes... we cooked em and they ate em.
