Kumho XS

Anyone out there with experience with the Kumho XS. Looking at the data from Grassroots and Car & Driver looks like a great dry tire, and a wicked wet tire. Unfortunately the Dunlop Stars aren't available in my 275/40R17 size or the 295/35R17 I can also run. The Kumho XS are however. I am currently running SPT's as my street and race tire, but would of course like everyone else like more grip.

If you have experience with the tire, what are your pros and cons? Are you running them on light or heavy car. (I have a Corvette) Have you run them in competition?

Thanks
Art

needs heat, terrible in the wet even as a daily driver tire, needs heat, poor acceleration and braking characteristics... needs heat.

wicked wet tire
I have these on my R32. "wicked wet" performance is correct-- When it rains, just imagine you're driving on a road covered with KY jelly.
