It's 22350 code and it's actually pre printed on the form as a WARNING

Box checked/ This warning is given to you in an effort to secure your cooperation in better observance of the traffic laws thus helping to prevent traffic accidents

Carlsbad PD

The officer took some delight in pointing out that my V1 did not prevent him nailing me (on a curve) with lasar. He was a pretty nice Motorcycle cop, 50 ish.

Do I need to do ANYTHING on this or just buy a lottery ticket. My last "encounter" was also Carlsbad PD about 4-5 years ago. Also a warning. Also about 55 in a 45 zone, lady motorcycle cop.

BTW these are really safe speeds (not the posted but the ones I was traveling) on wide divided surface streets with NO houses/driveways that exit onto the streets. And I WAS going with flow of traffic, not zig zag passing in my truck. These (2) cops were pulling over about every 10th or 15th car as fast as they could turn around & get in ambush position again.

:)

Your done until the six hooded guys dressed in black show up at your home, pin you against the wall and inquire, "Why didn't you appear for the citation?"

That would have been an easy ticket to beat, but not as easy as not getting a ticket. Congratulations.

This is really incredible, but the next day I get a DMV letter that informs me my registration expired 5/26 on that truck. Apparently I got it smogged & then forgot to go online & pay the dmv.

The cop missed that it was expired on the reg I handed him. I think he was enjoying himself, busting my b@@@s about popping me even though I had a V1.

Double lucky day.
