Oh well, I guess I'm looking for an enclosed trailer to be honest. Since my '73 Datsun Z is unregistered, I need a place to hide the car (Datsun) instead of wasting garage space. My poor 350Z is stuck outside in the sun (draped with a car cover of course), and I would like to move it back into the garage. Plus, with the tiny Datsun parked in the garage, my wife thinks she has freewill to park all "willy-nilly" with her fat, oversized 5 series! The 350Z returning back to the car will set her straight, "literally".
If anyone has an enclosed trailer for sale, I'm looking. I would like a 20 footer with a side door, maybe even two side doors. A Featherlite would be nice.

Going to sound like a dumbass, here.... sorry for that.

I sold this trailer to someone that I'm pretty sure is from here. I'm hoping to get in contact with him. If you're reading this, can you please contact me? 714-390-0105.

It's pretty urgent.

Thanks,

Eric Stanley

Just now remembering where you stashed the heroin?

Very funny.

I keep getting DMV notices about toll road violations with it. He apparently hasn't registered it yet and I don't have his contact information anymore. I sent my copy of the release of liability to the DMV, but apparently they never received it or didn't record it or something...

His name didn't rhyme with Phillip Royle, did it?

It's not Philip, he HAD a single axle trailer.

Shouldn't the TOWING vehicle get the the toll citation?

My FasTrak transponder stopped working years ago (I think the battery conked out). When I go through a toll booth with a rental car, I get a picture of the front my rental...

I honestly don't remember his name.

And yes, you'd think the towing vehicle would get the citation. Apparently not.

If towing, especially without a front plate, they probably couldn't get a shot of the vehicles plate.

No trailers on the 91 toll road. Beyond that, 3 axles and more cost additional, that could be what they are after. If the person did not put the trailer tag on the account they are just going to send the ticket to whoever the tag comes back to.

Can I tow a boat or trailer on The Toll Roads?

A boat or trailer can be towed on The Toll Roads. Please note, if you plan to use FasTrak, be sure to record the license plate of your boat or trailer on your account. You can add a license plate to your account online. California State Highway laws also apply on The Toll Roads, therefore any vehicle pulling a boat or trailer must follow the same rules and regulations as you do on the regular highways. Boats and trailers cannot be towed on the 91 Express Lanes, the 10-mile tollway in the median of the 91 Freeway, which is run by a separate entity

I got a notice for my trailer, with front plates on the tow vehicle. It was easy for me to fix by adding the trailer plate to my account, but it seemed odd.

I'm guessing you didn't keep a copy of the release or the Bill of Sale? If you did, and your a member of AAA take them the copies, and they should be able to assist you while skipping the hell hole that DMV is.

Eric, this maybe one of the DMV's shotgun approach to collecting fines.

I received a notice that my van had been impounded and I owe about half of California's yearly deficit. I had sold the van 3 yrs ago and after contacting the new owners, friends of my wife's daughter, they had registered the van at that time and had already gotten the van out of the impound yard.

I don't remember who I called either the impound lot, DMV, or local PD, but one of them told me that they send the notice to all owners on record for the past 10 yrs.

my brother in law has received 2 tickets in the past year, for a 4-runner that he sold 2 years ago.

this practice by the govt is out of hand.

Eric. Sorry. About the extra mail you have been getting on my trailer. I'll add it to my fasttrak. Honestly it slipped my mind.

You might get tickets from Texas too. Ha ha. I registered it but I guess they still have you listed as well. I will check it out.

I think someone in Sacramento files all those Release of Liability notices in a trash can somewhere... out of the last four I've sent in, they supposedly have not recieved three of them.

I've started making a photocopy that I can fax them when these issues come up.

Again AAA. You walk out with a receipt that they did it.
