Please pay attention to the cones, NOT THE CAR!!!

Thanks to Mako's slo-mo videos. It confirms my thought about my last run on Sunday. I thought there was one slalom cone that was mis-placed in my run. Well, watch the following videos. First one is Lisa Berry's run. I was behind her at the start line. She clipped one slalom cone, that cone kept standing but got moved a few inches (probably still in the box). Second video is my run. Notice the same cone was not fixed.

A message to all course workers: PLEASE WATCH THE CONES AFTER THE CAR PASSES, NOT THE CAR ITSELF!!!

Man, I AAAALMOST stopped for a cone displaced at the start of the finish slalom on my first run.. it was still in the box, but it was sitting up half on it's pointer cone. I actually thought about KJ's whole deal at the last event and said.. eh screw it and looked ahead.

Lining up on the Slalom cones with my long lens I can easily see when cones are slightly out of place. On Sunday we twice pointed out to workers that cones were out of place on the slalom just before the finish.
Especially on Saturday it seemed like some of the Starters were sending the cars a bit too often. I was almost frantic trying to get the camera reset for the next car. I don't recall that being a problem in the past?

I know...

I screwed up in 3 other places during that run anyway. One being the exit of the turn just before that slalom, man...I was way wide!
