Finishing up Brian's To-Do Suggestions with the Vette ... and wanted to share what the radiator looked like. The AC radiator in front of the radiator had more stuff crammed in near the top, but overall wasn't quite as dirty ... although there was a pizza flyer stuffed between shroud and radiator!

I'd say a lot of that grassy stuff must be from El Toro? I'm vacuuming out the loose crud. Not as effective as removing the radiator, but the coolant looks very clean, clear and new so I don't want to disconnect hoses and flush the system at this point. Mistake?

I found a dead bird, dried out to the bone, at the corner of the radiator shortly after buying my car. I had to reach in with a gloved hand to get it out. :barf: No pictures of that thing.

When I bought my C4 it had an overheating problem. I was going through as I do any used car replacing hoses, and realized I had junk between the two, as I had read I would be the case. I pulled out the radiator and steam cleaned it, replaced the hoses, ended up replacing the AC condenser. Then had a screen guard made for the air inlet to reduce what could get in their. No heating problems since regardless of outside temp even in bumper to bumper. For Corvettes cleaning between the radiator, pulling and steam cleaning the radiator is worthwhile.

Mako, just spray-paint all that stuff flat black and you're good to go!
