Webpage Builder Software

For years I have used a very simple very capable little webpage builder that came as part of Netscape 7.2, called communicator. Alas it didn't meld with Windows 7 and was lost in the transition to my new computer. One of only two casualties so I can't complain. But it was free, it worked, and it was simple. Anybody know of a similar product with like attributes, simple, works, free?

Thanks

Seamonkey

I also used to use the Composer WYSIWYG HTML editor from the Netscape Communicator package for making simple eBay auction pages. The editor in Seamonkey is very similar.

Out of those 10, only 2 are WYSIWYG like the Communicator editor: Seamonkey and Amaya. Seamonkey should be most similar to what he's used to.

wysiwyg is overrated :)

i'm still curious to what kind of site/requirements he is working with because there may be a potentially even easier setup he could use, something like a free online cms (after initial setup of course).

QV for years I have had a small though for the last year largely in active Christian newletter called Southern California Chirstian Entertainment News.com. http://www.scce-news.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Trying to re-energize it, but had lost my friendly old composer. SCCE dates back to 1995 and the bulletin board era.
