Who is Steve Stavely? And what's the deal with this email I got about fall events? I don't understand what most are.

I don't know. Anybody, anybody, Bueller? I suspect he's associated with SCCA club racing.

He's the region Regional Executitive. Basically leader of papa CalClub. In the past the REs have been difficult for Solo to deal with, Steve is a good proactive guy.

Steve Stavely is the Regional Executive for Region 019 (CalClub).
The RE is the elected head of the entire region including Club Racing, Solo, RallyX, TSD's, etc.
We're a little unique in that we operate very independently from the main body of Cal Club. Lot of boring history there. But technically Steve Stavely oversees what we do. Though I doubt he can spell S-O-L-O.
