Greetings people of GRA,

I need to know the event officials for the 10/23-24 event at Cal Speedway.

Specifically :

Event Master
Safety Steward
Chief of Waivers
Youth Steward

Flyer says Brian Robertson is the SS, so that's who I'm putting on the sanction.

I see a lot of people volunteering, but different names on the flier.

I need a definitive list from GRA.

Agreed that it is the responsibility of GRA to tell you who they are using - just want it to be clear that Tom T. is qualified and has volunteered - I'd hate to see mis/lack of communication preventing the kids from running.

The whole event is in jeopardy at this point. The official "SSS" starts a thread asking for someone else to do the job and we have some possibly volunteers for Youth Steward, but no GRA input.

I've sent Brian Chmielewski an emai.

Update from GRA :

QV will be SS
Tom Tanquary will be Youth Steward, although no kids expected on Saturday.

Gee, I don't check the board all day and I then find my name mentioned like, what? 10 times?

One of the main reasons I got a YS SSS was to add one more layer of back-up to ensure kids can run.

Glad to do it.
