Mako, you and Greg were curious if the fake fur cover worked on my camera -- it seems to do an excellent job. Here's an example, although you shouldn't take it an example of good autocross technique. http://vimeo.com/17723090" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The camera is a Canon SD4000IS. It has stereo microphones, one pinhole to either side of the lens. You can see some of the fake fur blowing in front of the lens. You can also see Canon's continuous auto-focus doing a good job, then a not so good job, of keeping the cones in focus.

That course looked like fun.

Excellent sound quality John! I tried a fur covering at the last event, but I had the SD card Locked. Stupid that the camera will allow one to roll, even though it isn't recording ... without giving one a Error Message.

You should be able to set your Canon to full manual focus, or Landscape mode where focus is set to Infinity ....

Hahahaha. Got ya!

Sorry about all the blurry pics of the side of the motorhome. A lot of folks seemed to be experimenting with the "wide line" through the finish.
