Hi all,

A trumpet player friend on mine is in need of a new car. He's not going to autocross it, just a daily driver. He's only got $5,000.........

If anybody had any ideas, suggestions please let me know.

thanks

David

2001 Mercedes Benz C240, 160,xxx miles, black, never been in a wreck, body is clean and straight, air conditioner has a refrigerant leak somewhere (I"ve never bothered to find it) so it needs to be charged yearly or find and repair the leak. Otherwise, it runs well.

I just got my insurance renewal. Since I've been involved in an accident, my rates have skyrocketed so I'm getting rid of two vehicles. This one might fit your friend's needs. Have him contact me if interested.

I have a customer wanting to sell his 1983 Datsun 280ZX for $3,000. It has pretty high mileage but has been maintained fairly well, good tires brakes and I do believe the AC works. Needs a few things in general a pretty decent car its worth more than he's asking, I can email pics if interested. It is a rare slick top ZX, no t-tops dark grey but could use a paint job but looks nice at 10'.

It is a 5 speed if that matters.

1998 Nissan Altima GXE
White Chick with nice nearly flawless old man beige interior
Never smoked in
Automatic
Approximately 49,000 miles
Fresh tires
Meticulously maintained and from I can tell mechanically perfect.

It was my 92 yo grandfather's car. It wasn't driven much in the last 10 years, but never sat without driving for long. Hence the low miles.

Mechanically the car seems excellent. The interior is in great shape. No kids, no animals, no fast food eating, no smoking, no hoarding.

Down side. If he got a scratch, door ding, dark mark, bird strike.... Gramps zapped it with Appliance White spray paint. No joke. Probably 10 spots on the car are spray painted with gloss white paint. At 92, he thought it was a perfect match. Out in the light, not so much. Actually from 20 feet say, you can't tell, up close, you go WTF? I wonder if the spots can be buffed out? Or a cheapie MAACO job? Or maybe somebody won't care since the car runs so well and is so low mileage???

$2000
