We're going to try one of those mobile windshield replacement services. Can't find their email at the moment ... but we were quoted $165 to replace our cracked Miata windshield. Not 100% if that was for the tinted version? Google windshield replacement

If you're just looking to fix a rock chip then Cruizers car wash on Tampa near Parthenia (Costco parking lot) has a guy that does good work. Tell him the fat dude with the stickered up teal civic race car sent you. ;)

For Mako... Cheaper the auto replacement glass is, often the lighter it is.... Old racer trick. ;)

Wait 'till you have to replace the C5 windshield that has the heads up display . You will be real unhappy. For that matter, the C5 rear glass with the imbedded defogger is hugely painful.

Safelite. Used them multiple times, professional, good price, on time. Definitely recommend.

+1 for Safelite. If it's just a rock chip it can be repaired. Once it's a crack you'll need the whole windshield.

Best head up display because if you wear polarized sunglasses it's still readable. Rear defogger is something that can be lived without.
