I see your recovery is troubled. I am glad to see you have not embraced sailboat racing. If cars are cocaine, sailboats are Heroin.

Obviously Dos Equis missed the boat Bill. You are clearly "the most interesting man in the world".

You realize for those of [us] that weren't there that little nugget of protesting your car owner is fasinating. One would normally assume a technical violation but then you suspect it was present for both drivers. I don't really want to know, as I assume it's political and I am not interested in that stuff, but still fasinating.
Still the car was several hundred pounds heavier, and sevral hundred horsepower less than and F-1 Honda of nearly the same displacement so there was room for improvement.

there was no protest. Jeff hit a cone, giving the win to his codriver, Steve.

Paint fumes, or tar fumes, or something, something, something. Rebuilding a sailboat takes its toll.

"Everything in the following story is true: Except the stuff I made up"
lol....I wasn't there, so I don't know what happened - that was how it was related to me by Jeff, who from what I gather doesn't race much anymore.
I do know that weenie protests are the norm at National events.
I also know that I hate weenies, and I hate rules, hence I never spent much time at National events.
(Marshal on the other hand....)
One of the many great things about sailing is that there are minimal rules within 3 miles of shore, fewer between 3 and 12, and the ABSOLUTELY NO LAWS past 12 nautical miles.
Just ask the Somalis.
So all you tax hating Tea Party crybabies should simply buy boats, sail off shore, and start inbreeding....
Nice to talk to everyone again!
