Attention RallyCross Drivers. We are now in the depths of the season and it's time to start siging up for the second weekend of the Glen Helen RallyX series.

Just four weekes away, April 16th and April 17th will each be Glen Helen Series Points event (there is no practice this weekend). Each day is a stand alone championships with seperate awards and scoring.

Registration is a little different this time as you have to sign up for each day seperately. Be sure to select the class that contains the day you want to drive (i.e., Stock 2wd for Saturday would choose "S2SAT")

Link to Registration (MyAutoEvents)

Pre-reg closes the week before the event, then prices go way up.

Each days target schedule:
Tech and Reg open at 7am
Walking 7am-8:30 and at Lunch
First car off at 9:00

Daily Championship Fees:
Pre-Reg SCCA Members $50
Pre-Reg Non-Members $55
Reg Day-Of $70

There's already 13 entries spread well over the classes. Now is the time to register so we can start planning for the number of entrants! You do not need to pre-pay to take advantage of the pre-reg discount.

For the Championships there are trophies for the class winners and medals for top 3 in all classes. And again there will be a special prize for top lap of each day. Additionally, at least $4 of every entrant goes into the prize pool for the season series (details can be found on the CalClubRallyX.com site). Season prize pool is already at $196.

Novices and experts alike are welcome. If you think you need it, instruction is usually easy to find, and we have some loaner helmets for free use as well.

We got a pretty good start on the year (49 drivers), I hope to build up some momentum for a seriously cool season.

I know some of you guys are rally-curious, note this is the last RallyX scheduled in SoPac until mid october. So if you want to try it out, go get that rental car and register.

Entries are trickling in, and there's only one week before Pre-reg closes. Be sure to enter and get your friends and significant others on board as well. Right now we're at about half the entrants it's going to take for the event to break even.

I'm working on a small timing and scoring upgrade. But other than that, we should have two great championship days just like the Feb 13th event. This is also the weekend to get a big jump on your competition in the Glen Helen cash purse series. We're almost at a purse total of $400.

One more day left for pre-reg! Ends at midnight Wednesday.

Don't get caught out and end up paying $70 on site. Pre-reg also helps greatly with event operations. Next Glen Helen event isn't for 6 months, so get your giggles in now! We've got about 35 people signed up each day, so looking great

Feel free to ask me questions:

I'll post work/run groups for both days on Thursday.

It was very fun, thanks Jayson! Also nice seeing some autoxer's out there.

We were suppose to have all seasons for this event, but the rims didn't end up clearing the hub :(. Summer tires were very interesting, though :-D.
