With the previous day in the 90s we were prepared for heat.
However, Sunday turned out to be cool in the morning only slightly warming up in the afternoon.
The wind severity increased as the day progressed forcing cones to be double stacked.
With a shortage of course workers battling the wind, it was very difficult to cover the entire course. The course workers did a great job constantly running around.

Congrats to Seb for taking top PAX! The very fast SM Evo was only 0.004s behind him.
Here are the results for our local drivers that made the trek (minus the cool Mr. Hironaka):

'Street Touring' Total Entries: 10
1T 97 Rios, Sebastian 1989 Honda Civic Si 54.213 - -
2T 50 Hironaka, David 1989 Honda Civic Si 54.794 0.581 0.581
3T 29 Smith, Michael 1990 Honda Civic 54.818 0.024 0.605
4T 211 Crozier, David 1990 Honda civic si 55.519 0.701 1.306
5 227 Kazmierczak, Mike 1997 Honda Prelude 56.504 0.985 2.291

'Street Touring X' Total Entries: 3
1T 497 Rios, Shauna 1989 Honda Civic Si 55.124 - -
2 797 Rios, David 1989 Honda Civic Si 59.562 4.438 4.438

Here is my fastest run. Please excuse the occasional appearance from the camera tether.
NOTE: You will see several downed cones due to the wind. If everyone had stopped for wind cones, we would have been there all day. The course workers did their best after cars passed. It was tough running with the radio and only having 1 worker in my section.

The course was fun, it took a couple of runs to get readjusted to the Prelude.

Speaking of wind, I just replaced my front bumper after an incident with doubled-up cones during our last windy practice day.

Theo, that sucks. You're not alone, as a couple of Miatae sacrificed rocker panels at El Toro...the Bjoin and Hayter machines.

And at least one Evo fender liner.
