F1 and Pirelli tires

I dislike them. I like the DRS & the KERS since it's a great gap closer, but the tire situation and how much they fluctuate at the falloff drives me nuts.

Yes, there's a lot more strategy involved, but at the same time, it really feels like they're taking more and more of the driver out of the equation.

Jeff that is always the complaint with F1, if not the tires, back in the day, the teams ability to change programing on the fly, ground effects side skirts, fuel tank size. I think the answer is really differnt, all the drivers and teams are faced with the same problems with tires, and the guy that can save tires, the teams that can manage pit strategy and compound selection will out perform. In some cases they will out peform faster cars with less competent strategies. Really if this racing gets any closer the Indy Car guys will sue for plagerism.
