Missing a Mirror...

So yesterday I was rushing out of a parking space in a parking garage, and forgot that there was a pole next to me...the result is a SOLID dent in my door and a missing side mirror. brilliant! Now I have damage on both sides of the vehicle. Then, as if I weren't upset enough, I had the horrifying thought that "removing" the mirror might be illegal for HS, hence disqualifying me from that class. Does anybody know what the rule is on this?

Technically, yes.

I was down a few parts on my car for a while. I carried them in the glove box. While one could argue weight distribution relocation, I figured at minimum they couldn't argue I was making the car lighter. Don't know how big the mirror is, but if it fits....

It doesn't say you can relocate it (which is how your suppose to read the book).

Generally, stuff like that you'll be fine locally, and you'd probably be fine nationally if your not a top tier driver.
