Help! I need to have 4 tires/wheels transported to Lincoln. Will pitch in some gas money.

I'm doing the Pro and Nationals so I'll likely begin running on Saturday, the 27th. Nationals on Thu/Fri (Sep 1 & 2)

Sorry - I'll be there for the Pro, but run the first Tuesday/Wednesday for Nats.

I'm still looking for a firm commitment for tire transport. I'm in central OC but I'll take them a fair distance to anyone willing to help out. Gas money included.

Once the run/work schedule is out I can firm up or deny that maybe. I need to leave ASAP on the Friday, so if I'm done at 2pm, I don't want to be waiting until the 5th group is done impounding before I can leave.Jayson Woodruff wrote:Maybe

Have you checked with the fellows that are using the transporter ... to see if they have any extra room in any of those cars, ie. place a message in the Transport thread

Based on last year, that is unlikely. From last year....
"Loaded in the car: 8 tires, 4 tool boxes, 4 helmets, 4 chairs, 4 floppy hats (not getting smashed btw) an ez-up, water sprayer, car jack, ice chest, gas jug, quiet exhaust, and I still have room in the front seat for a duffel bag

Pretty amazing. I can actually get alot of junk into the vette but I think (maybe) one tire in the passenger seat would be the limit. Remember, we're talking 315-18's, not the Civic go kart stuff. ;)From last year....

Two 275s in the trunk, one 315 in each seat... No one needs to sit in the drivers seat when its on the trailer.Steve Towers wrote: Pretty amazing. Actually, the 275's won't fit into the trunk, so it's a moot point.
