Here's my 4th run. Turns out my 3rd was slightly faster, but I didn't check my time slips until I had already uploaded it.

Thanks Theo and E-Board for a great event, as always.
Thanks Jon Lugod for a great course, I really enjoyed it!

My third run of the day. 63.024. My first event ever! I took pretty poor lines into the turn after the wallom and the final turn before the end. Critiques welcome.

Can someone PM me that knows a bit about video editing and getting stuff on YouTube. Just got a GoPro HD 1080p version for recording my motorcycle rides and autocrossing. But now that I have some video don't know what to do with it. Need a simple editing program (got Lightworks on recommendation, but seems way too complicated). For now just want to crop, maybe add text and music. What's the best resolution to record at? The file I have now is at 1080p. Thanks.
Computer is 3ghz i7 cpu, with 12gig memory, running Win7 Ultimate 64 bit.

I'll second the choice for Windows Movie Maker. That's what Kevin uses for his videos, and it's very easy.
Also, 1080p is the best quality, and Vimeo tends to have better quality than youtube for sharing 1080p videos.

Movie Maker says it doesn't support my file type (MP4)

You want to use resolution r4, 960 but the tallest format, best for including foreground steering. If you use r3, 60 fps 720, you need to put it on a 60 fps or 1/2 speed time line in order to see the slow motion

Movie Maker doesn't support MOV files either (which is the file format from my camcorder). So I downloaded a free video converter to convert the file into WMV (I think). Here's the link,

The cone level view. Interesting wave effect on the GoPro when idling. Guess whatever smoothing technology it has doesn't work on the frequency the kart idles at. Run #2 was the best @ 51.200

Groovy!
On a different note, it's funny to watch all the places you were accelerating and upshifting, and I was braking. Those karts are crazy!
