Does any one remember this car running at Qualcom?

Please see attached.

Here is one pic of the car. It's been sitting since 2004. What I've been able to determine so far is that it was raced in San Diego at local SCCA events. It has a built Porsche 914 engine with dual downdraft webbers and is setup with an air clutch and the shifter is on the left Gand side of the cockpit. More pics and info to follow.

I've been racing in SD since '74 and I don't remember that car at all.
Try the PCA guys http://forum.pcasdr.org/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope that helps some.

Going through the results from 04 might get you something, maybe just a name of the owner/driver? Could be he races in another class now but may get you something as well as results that could explain why it sat.

EDIT

I would post in the thread but I can't thanks to their site. Grr.

The only BM car I can see that might make sense is the VM driven by "Charles" no. 131. It pops up in the 03 season and a bit in the 04 season. The rest of the cars are Ardvarks and Lolas. EM has a Solo Vee, but the mod class doesn't match. Do any of the numbers on the side make sense?

The only thing I figured was maybe the entry of the kind of car competing wasn't entered accurately....
