Kind of a depressing note on the state of our sport locally.Rick Brown wrote: Note that the run order has been reduced to 4 groups and therefore completely revised for 2012.
Displayed where?Anthony Munoz wrote:How can I update my new points card number? My number changed in 2012. However, even after I have updated my account with the new number the old number is still being displayed.

If you look at the Point Card Listing on solo2.com, for 2011 it shows #817 and for 2012 it shows #50. As Aaron said, it's still 2011 ;)Anthony Munoz wrote:How can I update my new points card number? However, I make the changes on motorsportreg.com. Everyone, please PM me with any changes as I don't plan on going through the whole list to find them. MSR is completely manual, I can't just import the list, I have to do them one at a time. So if your permanent number doesn't appear (or it's wrong) when you register, let me know.
P.S. Tony, I've updated you on MSR.
Perm number list and event entries updated.Mako Koiwai wrote:We didn't have the new numbers when Karen and I registered ... so both of us are listed with number 716 (or 719 ?) ... in CST
My new number is 98, Karen's is 398
Thanks ...
Where can I find out more about the class changes. I can't find anything that looks like 2012 solo rules on solo2.com or scca.com.Rick Brown wrote:Note that there a few changes to the run order pending due to 2012 class changes. ST is now STC and there are two new classes, STF and SSP.
Need to figure out where I can run nuclear power, 6WD and rocker-bogieMako Koiwai wrote:No Steve, still no class for Mars Rovers. What does JPL have up its sleeves?
It has been listed out in various FastTracks, but that isn't too convenient. The 2012 rulebook hasn't been released yet. I'd hope soon, but have no insight into that.Steve Collins wrote:Where can I find out more about the class changes. Found it. December FastTrack, starting on page 7. MSR updated with new classes. I'll do the run order soon.KJ Christopher wrote:It has been listed out in various FastTracks, but that isn't too convenient. The 2012 rulebook hasn't been released yet. If there is a specific question(s), you might just ask and see if anyone remembers.
Fixed. Missed the checkbox to show PAXed classes for the registrations listing. Sorry it took so long to get to it, was fixing the classes on MSR. ;)Tom Berry wrote:Mmmm, not sure what to make of this... I signed up for the Jan. event several days ago, but I dont show on the current reg. list.
Send me enough money and Northrop Grumman can build you one no problem. U238 powered all wheel drive.Steve Collins wrote:Need to figure out where I can run nuclear power, 6WD and rocker-bogieMako Koiwai wrote:No Steve, still no class for Mars Rovers. What does JPL have up its sleeves?
For the practice it's easy, either send in the amount for two full entries ($55 each, two sets of runs) or a shared entry ($65, share one set of runs). If she needs a weekend membership she can get it at the event. For Sunday, she (or you) needs to create an account on Motorsportreg to pre-register online.Cam Correa wrote:Ok so how do I basically force my wife into trying this?
I want to register her as an additional driver but did not see that in plain simple english?
THanks for all you help
If nothing else I've gotta get her started in practice & maybe one after that get her to race..
She if very timid about doing this, but as most of were before we started ..... Help me get her into it.
I know she'll kick all our butt's once she starts. LOL!
The practice is mail in entry this time.Cam Correa wrote:Ok I just registered for the race & am now looking for the practice link.
I'll try to get her into practice before asking her to actually race.
EDIT: Just figured out how to get into the practice page & its closed already? ( Probably why I was having trouble? Kept taking me a Google thingy.)
Dont know how that snuck by me I've been watching so I could get into that one.
As I said wanted to get the wife to try this....
