Dude I'm a DAD!!

So I'm sitting here at midnight on a Friday uploading photos to the web of the not so little (8lb 5 oz 21inch) baby boy burrito wrap squirming around next to me as Wendy tries to get some sleep and realize I'm having a Talking Heads moment...
i.e. "MY GOD, HOW DID I GET HERE!!!"
I am by no means complaining, as I am blessed to have a happy healthy momy and baby to look after, it is just such a contrast from the sleep deprivation activities of a few short years ago...
I have been autoxing since 1996 when I attended my first event at irvine meadows. I didn't have a lot to manage in my life at the time but recently I have been reminded of the "been there done that" factor with most of the die hard regulars among us.
In looking for photos of Craig, I ran across many other pics from the 70s and 80s and recognized several people that are still out with us today...
Names will not be mentioned, as to protect these addicts, and their egos given the hair and clothing styles of the era
but I wanted to recognize all that they do with helping to organize autocrosses and other great motorsports events while managing work and family responsibilities as well.
Thinking of this the night before Craig's memorial just gives me more incentive to continue to be an active part of the solo community and actively participate in any way I can to support the future of our great one weekend a month activity....
Oh, gotta change a diaper, :barf: enough rambling
