Sold 1-17-12 @ 6:35pm
Thank Patrick see you all Sunday hope my Rs3's come in for the rain day playing!
I bought these about 12 months ago used. They have been sitting covered in my Garage since then. We tried to have one mounted on our 15X7 Kosi's and installer could not get it to sit correctly on the rim. We have decided to stick with the 225X45x15's tires for this year need to do too much body work to make them fit. So I need the room for other things, I have no idea of how these hold up time wise they are suppose to have one race on them and a practice - I can bring them with us Sunday 1-22-12 if anyone is interested in seeing them - all six 100.00 OBO. Let me know Daryl

OK, no comments - so are these things too old and ready for the trash? I really need the garage cleaned out.

Try here:
http://forum.calclub.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And fire your tire installer, those are not difficult to mount.

Anybody with 15x7 wheels - spec miata or spec civic, ST, STS - that wants to have a ton of fun with their car should buy these to play with.
We ran them on the Elise and had a blast.
Mark, don't you have a 1.7 914 we could throw these on for GP?

So what is the trick, we tried just one, he used tire mounting wax/grease made a huge mass? I brought it home and put 50lbs of press in it and it still do not sit all the way on the rim. We have Kosei K1s with wide beads on them.

No trick. Try a different tire and a different tire shop. Pretty sure I used the America's Tire in Costa Mesa to mount a set of these on racing dynamics pro race 1 15x7s.

No special trick, just practice. Lots of times your street corner tire garage struggles with anything outside of the ordinary, it does not fall on the wheel so they give up. What blows my mind is those appear to be used, which really softens up the tire and makes it easier, and they still could not do it.
I have put the cantilevers on the K1 and K1-TS, the wheel makes little difference. These are easier than a 18" Kumho V710.

You want them mounted... Bring them to Fontana this weekend, there is a Club Race inside the track, Goodyear has a shop setup inside and those guys can mount anything.
