WTB!!! Hankook RS3 255/R17

I'm in desperate need of the Hankooks, otherwise no SD Tour for me. If you have or know of anyone that might have a set for sale, please let me know!
Nothing's wrong with them, other than the fact that I need to buy another set of wheels for them, and after the Tour, I won't touch them until we go back to AAA speedway, so $800 worth of tires is just gonna sit there, along with the $1000 worth of wheels.Max Hayter wrote:Yom - you big girl's blouse... what's wrong with Dunlops, especially at SD?
I have a set of 245/40/17 RS3s you could borrow for a small fee.
So, Mr. Precision, you are blaming your future loss on .4" of rubber?James Yom wrote:Thanks so much for the offer Max. But after thinking about it, paying all the money for the entry fee, gas, hotel, only to not have a chance to win on 245 size tires isn't worth it. Thanks so much for the offer sexy!

Plus James, it's not all about winning. It's about friendship, camaraderie, fun times, and all that bollocks!KJ Christopher wrote: So, Mr. Precision, you are blaming your future loss on .4" of rubber?
Hellz yeah! Even if I had 255s, winning at SD would still be very difficult to the miata. I'd blame the silly STAC (:pKJ Christopher wrote:So, Mr. Precision, you are blaming your future loss on .4" of rubber?James Yom wrote:Thanks so much for the offer Max. But Max, I get to heckle you at all of our local events, and I don't have to pay for a hotel! If I go, I need to make sure I ain't losing to no stinkin' Miata!!!Max Hayter wrote:Plus James, it's not all about winning. Just wait til the CASOC brass finds out about your statement, they'll be calling for meetings deciding your fate.Max Hayter wrote:

Oh, then you won't mind me driving your car and you can drive mine on the 245 RS3s? hehehe ;)Max Hayter wrote:I think James is over simplifying my chances. With 27+ people in STR, there are probably about 10 people that can easily win!
I'm just happy to show up and enjoy the wonderful scenery }:)
Oh please - what about that Motonishi fellow?James Yom wrote: You have THE car for the SD Tour. It's all yours to blow
Oh, Max! He's saddled by family and kids and dogs and.....oh, wait, nevermind....Max Hayter wrote:Oh please - what about that Motonishi fellow?James Yom wrote: You have THE car for the SD Tour. It's all yours to blow
Exactly - all these STR knob jockeys are racing almost every weekend, and I'm only racing once a month. I'm totally out of practice!Bill Schenker wrote: Oh, Max! He's saddled by family and kids and dogs and.....oh, wait, nevermind....
