Does anyone want or need a 2nd driver for the Divisional in June? I'm not sure if I have enough time to prep for the class that I want to run in. Just a thought, no hurry. :ibrightdea: Thanks!
Btw, who else is pumped for the Divisional!?

I can give you a ride in my Mustang but I'm guessing you'll be in the same boat you're in now.

I would like to sign up my car in that event, but I don't see it on MSR, is there a different sign-up location? What is the typical cost for each day?

It will be on MSR, but hasn't been posted yet. We're still working out the details. Look for it to be up by Friday.

Is there a post here that describes a divisional?

Well, traditionally the Divisional has simply been the National Tour format and rules set, but just put on by our local regional members instead of the SCCA national staff. This, however, is a 'Super Regional', and I have no idea what that is.

If you went to the National Tour in San Diego last month, it's essentially like that.
If not, it's a two day autocross where your best time on Saturday's course is combined with your best from Sunday's course (the courses are not the same) for your overall time. Procedures are a bit more structured than a local event. Also, it's not really a Divisional since SCCA has discontinued that program. We are now calling it a Super Regional, but it will be the same.

Hey Rick, I see a typo on the flier....
"BROUGHT TO YOU BY THE FOLKS THAT CREATED THE 2012 DIVISIONAL OF THE YEAR! DIFFERENT NAME, SAME GAME!"
I believe that "2012" s/b "2011", as no divisional has been brought to us yet this year.

As in the past (and like national events), it isn't figured out or released until just before the event on Wednesday.
