With all the planning and effort that went into planning the Southern Pacific Super Regional, it seems we forgot that we have a practice/Autocross Sunday coming up right on it's heels.
So here's a
link to the practice. It's right around the corner so get signed up right away. No time to waste!
Don't forget to sign up for
Autocross Sunday while you're there.

I just registered, but wasn't given the option to register for PAX class (I registered in CSP), FYI.

I think the software has finally realized that the CSP PAX is too soft, and thus will not allow it any longer!

The classes were set-up for the Super Regional and haven't been changed back for our local classes yet. Most will notice no difference, but a few will not be able to find their local class yet.

Registered us ... Karen is going to run the Track Miata. I put it in CP for Sunday ... have no idea where it should go.
Hoosier Racing slicks but "standard" compound, ie. not Soft or Qualifying, it will weigh around 2,275, but minimal engine work, stripped interior but roll cage, DA shocks ...

How far is the car from spec miata status? IIRC spec miatas are allowed in DSP.

Fixed now.
Please remember that now all classes are in the "Class" drop down, including all indexed classes. The drop down labeled "PAX" is where you select your base class if you select an indexed class under "Class". Otherwise leave the "PAX" box as None. Many people for some reason for the Super Regional picked the same class in both places, i.e. CSP and CSP.

Mako, on slicks: DP.

At the moment it's about on par with a Spec Miata, although some SM cars are suspiciously fast in a straight line! Eventually it will be more powerful but also a couple 100 lbs heavier. DA shocks instead of SA's on a SM.
SM's are now using Hoosier SM's which are supposedly part way between an A6 and a R6
Normally our STL Miata would run on A6's ... but at the moment we have a choice of RA1's or Slicks.

Is it possible @ this early date to request that Karen and I are in different run groups? Also, I'm working Tech, so can't run first, and need to help Karen get the Miata off the trailer. Will try to arrive extra early

Got a road racer to visit on Sunday. He recently did the 24 Hours of Nurburgring - his 7th time. He signed up for this Practice!

The way your question is worded, I'm not quite sure what you asking. If you could state in more precise terms what exactly you want, I'm sure we can work something out. FYI, if either of you run out of group, you'll need the permission of the other competitors in you class.

? This is the PRACTICE Thread ...
I'm working Tech between 7 and 9 am ... so hopefully I can get there early enough to get the Miata off of the trailer if Karen runs in the first run group. If we run in later groups it's not an issue.
But since I might need to make some adjustments to the Miata, I rather not have us both running at the same time. Of course if it's one of those If You Aren't Working You're Running programs, it's not an issue.

My bad. KJ will be arranging the groups. While he very well may see this, an email or PM will surely get his attention.

Although this is a "Practice" thread, you have also posted a Sunday CHAMP link. For Sunday, what time does TECH/Registration close? The flyer seems not to indicate.
