We need new front bearings in the Vette ... anyone know off hand which ARP studs to order:

Seems like a lot of folks put in aftermarket studs that are unnecessarily long ... yet everyones concerned with unsprung weight. Why not get oem length studs, perhaps a 1/4" longer to cover eventual spacers?

... as opposed to these longer ones?

You're probably going to need to call people or send smoke signals.... Corvette people are luddites.

I will tell you on studs that I don't use the over 3" ones on my civic. I have the bullnose ARP's but in a length just longer than stock so I get extra threads but not the weight and changing time of 3.25" ones. I would only use the longer studs if I had to run thick spacers or such. But them I probably wouldn't want to autocross or track thick spacers. I do love the bullnose or bullet tipped studs they seem to ease both wheel mounting and lugnut locating.

It depends on the wheel package, offsets of rims, tire clearance, mini tub, flairs, if you want to pull the corner to install, all that.
Also they don't sell them in small increments of size, stocking 10 lengths instead of 3 would be expensive for the retailer. You can cut to desired length if you are incline to save a few oz's.
If you want to fit the stock closed end lug nuts, that's another factor.
