Do you guys use the same area that the TORC series uses ... was watching some of their crazy antics on TV last night. Something like 700 hp on dirt ... NUTS!

Come on Mako, you've been to a RallyX before. You know we don't do jumps and walls.

We use the dirt overflow parking lot, pretty much just like Solo.

Duh ... but it's the same place ... I just didn't recognize it because I guess the stadium/jumps weren't there when we did that Rally Cross outing

Anyone with a rear-wheel drive car looking for a codriver? Send me a PM.

Not a lot of RWD out there (at least people you know).

Ask Mike Nakata if he's going to drive the Miata on Sunday, if not, you can.

If you just want to try out at the practice you can run my car as well.

Seriously, pre-reg, we've been selling out.

Awesome... thanks Jay! I can definitely be there Saturday, (and just registered) and will know about Sunday shortly.

I also just found out my local rental car lot has a V6 Camaro... }:)

The pony cars aren't as terrible as you'd think, assuming they have decent tires. I once rented a 6cyl mustang (with good traction T/A tires) and won a large class. Power and patience go a long ways.

Only a couple days of registration left. We're down to just 6 spots left for Sunday's points event, and still have a decent number left for the practice. Couple of the Arizona Solo regulars have just signed up to make a weekend out of it.

If you want to come, don't wait any longer to register.

I'm looking forward to running at your practice on Saturday Jayson. KJ and I will be there, flailing badly I'm sure.

As for the troublemakers from Arizona - I think Dave said he had snow tires for the car. What does someone in Arizona have snow tires for???

Results are up for Oct 21st RallyX and for the season series.
http://www.CalClubRallyX.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We wrapped up the season with a very sucessful finale. Cash purse cracked $1300 this year, all handed out yesterday.

I've started a 2012 Glen Helen feedback survey.
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JDWJ7TC" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Anyone who has driven at least one Glen Helen event in 2012 is invited to participate in the survey. We did this last year as well and it contributed favorably to this season's operations.

Thank you everyone for a great 2012 season. Calendaring for the 2013 RallyX season will begin almost immediatly with a publish target of December.

So KJ and Mike, what did you get down to? And was it early or late in the day? The track got several seconds faster as it dried throughout the day. Danny (stuntman) got his rental Versa down to a crazy 71 seconds. But he musta had 100 runs.

We got down to a low 75 before scary sounds started coming from the right front area. :D

That transmission had a mind of its own, even in full control mode.
